Katie Hargrave was a competitive athlete for 15 years, finishing her basketball career in 2011 at the NCAA Division II level. She realized at that time she didn't know how to eat or exercise when it wasn't for her sport. She spent several years researching and trying different programs until she was able to find what worked for her. Through this process, she realized her passion is helping others in their journey of finding balanced health. She wrote a book to help athletes with their transition from sport to life: The Athlete After: A 10-week guide to balancing life after sports. She received her Holistic Health Coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is a member of the International Association for Health Coaches. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise.
